The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to ensure order fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include loading, unloading, picking, putting away, and consolidating products using a forklift.

Position Overview: The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to ensure order fulfillment. Additional responsibilities include loading, unloading, picking, putting away, and consolidating products using a forklift.

Shifts Available: 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 3pm-1am).

Pay Rate: $20.19/hour ($19.69 based pay, plus 0.50 shift difference)

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is to safely operate stand-up forklift for order fulfillment
• Must be able to manually case pick for order fulfillment as assigned
• Load, unload, pick, put away, and consolidate products
• Operate Electronic Pallet Jack (EPJ)
• Prepare product for shipping
• Conduct audits on outbound loads and correct mislabeled items and shortages
• Ensure replenishment of products in appropriate bays
• Perform other duties as assigned

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment
• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments and record indirect time promptly
• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies, customer requirements, and regulations
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
• Inspect each pallet and/or case for proper quantities, item brands, and lot codes (as applicable), damages, and follow any special instructions on the Work Assignment Form and/or additional documentation
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all learnings
• Must be willing to perform other responsibilities when case pick work is completed
• Follow safety rules and guidelines
• Maintain good attendance record
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Forklift certified
• At least six months of related work experience
• Skills required for forklift certification
• Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently
• Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
