Job summary

CTDI is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Supervisor in Haslet, TX to oversee a department within our repair operation. You will manage a team, supervise testing, repairing, and refurbishing processes, and drive productivity while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of supervisory experience in a high‑volume production environment, excellent interpersonal skills, and knowledge of ISO 9000 systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years supervisory/management experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively motivate and counsel employees.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and productivity of a department within the repair operation.
• Supervise testing, repairing, and refurbishing processes to meet quality standards.
• Counsel employees on performance and provide coaching as needed.
• Train staff on procedures and expectations and maintain safety and efficiency.
• Order parts and equipment and maintain an organized operation.
• Collaborate with the Repair Manager to optimize throughput.

The person in this hands-on position will be responsible for overseeing the performance and productivity of a department of employees within the repair operation. Specifically, the responsibilities of this position include:

2nd Shift:

3:00PM - 11:45PM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Supports and assists the Repair Manager.
• Oversee the operations and processes of testing, repairing, and refurbishing.
• Supervise production, quality performance, safety, and turnaround time.
• Train and support employees in procedures and expectations.
• Counsel employees on performance deficiencies when necessary.
• Order parts and equipment.
• Maintain a well-organized operation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years supervisory/management experience in a high-volume production environment required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively motivate and counsel employees.
• Ability to interact professionally with the customer in written and verbal communications.
• Proactive problem solving ability.
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Ability to multi task
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Systems

Education:

• Technical degree or certification strongly preferred.
