Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC in Elwood, Illinois is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The role requires operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The shift is Monday through Friday, 10pm–6am, with pay starting at $22.25 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Must pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment per customer requirements.
• Verify quantities and product types loaded for shipping.
• Perform order picking accurately and timely.
• Support inventory accuracy with documentation and RF scans.
• Report safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
