Job summary

SpaceX is looking for an SMT Specialist to join their fast-paced avionics production team in Union Hill-Novelty Hill, Washington. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain equipment and train new technicians to optimize SMT process and quality.

Key responsibilities include executing new product builds, resolving production issues, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Candidates should have experience in SMT or PCBA process engineering, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in SMT or PCBA process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SMT equipment is necessary.
• Experience producing J-STD-001 Class 2, IPC-A-610 Class 2 hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment and train new technicians for SMT operations.
• Execute new product introduction builds.
• Design custom fixtures for PCBAs to ensure efficient process flow.

Education
