Job summary

SpaceX is looking for an SMT Process Specialist in Texas to support the manufacturing and testing of user terminal products. This role involves executing new product introduction, resolving production issues, and ensuring product quality throughout the various work centers.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience with SMT equipment, strong qualifications in engineering or related fields, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Candidate must be able to work various shifts and be open to overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SMT and/or PCBA assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute new product introduction builds across all work centers.
• Resolve production issues while ensuring quality and timelines.
• Perform process development and validation on new models.

Skills

SMT and PCBA assembly equipment knowledge

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency with DFMEA and PFMEA

3D CAD software modeling

Basic competency with SQL databases

Education

High school diploma or equivalency certificate

Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
