Job summary

Training on the 1st shift will be provided. The role requires the ability to read production tickets, use measuring tools, and perform basic math. You must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years preferred
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Ability to multi task and read production tickets
• Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
• Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometers
• Must be computer literate
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitting machines to meet specs
• Read production schedule and customer specs for setup
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Install blades, spacers, lay-on bars as needed
• Monitor operation and adjust settings for quality
• Identify and quarantine damaged material
• Support other departments as needed
