Job summary

TPC Packaging Solutions in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Material Conversion Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12am). This role operates converting equipment to die cut films, tapes and industrial materials, while maintaining production runs and quality.

The ideal candidate has experience in converting or related industries, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the physical ability to operate machinery up to 65 pounds. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Experience in converting, printing, or packaging industries.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Must be able to physically operate machinery; lift up to 65 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate various converting equipment including rotary die cutter, slitter/rewinder, flexo printing, and related tables.
• Review work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs.
• Determine material quantities required for each job.
• Align and configure machines; troubleshoot issues and perform basic repairs.
• Inspect production samples to ensure quality and conformity to specs.
• Package finished material in specified cartons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
