Job summary

Butterball is seeking a forklift operator in Arkansas to safely move products within a food processing plant, perform forklift checks, and ensure accurate inventory and paperwork. The role requires using a handheld scanner and operating pallets jacks or related equipment.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma and be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. The position may require overtime and weekend work, with PPE and safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Able to follow all instructions and work under minimal supervision.
• Obtain PIT certification.
• Able to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift checks daily to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Complete all required paperwork pertaining to product, orders, placement, inventory.
• Accountable for punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
• Adheres to USDA and GMP product standards.
• Communicate with drivers, coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Account for all products and materials in assigned area including inventory and product location.
• Other duties as assigned.
