Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Fitting & Welding Shop Foreman to lead daily fabrication and production activities. You will guide shop personnel, ensure safety, quality, and delivery, and collaborate with project management, logistics, and purchasing to meet objectives.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, strong English communication, and a solid knowledge of steel fabrication processes. Overtime and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• Managerial or supervisory experience is required.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Detailed knowledge of the industry.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule as well as overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance for shop employees.
• Adhere to and enforce all company policies.
• Manage all aspects of the fabrication shop, including personnel, equipment, tools, materials, etc.
• Update and maintain the production schedule.
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries.
• Establish and publish standard fabrication procedures.
• Maintain quality standards and QC procedures to ensure on-time delivery.
• Evaluate production procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
• Communicate with other departments to meet project schedules.
• Maintain equipment and facilities as needed.
