Truck Center Companies in Mankato, MN, is seeking a 2nd Shift Shop Foreman to oversee vehicle repairs, assign work to technicians, and ensure repairs meet quality standards.

You will review repair orders, track time and parts, test drive when needed, and communicate with owners about additional repairs. CDL eligibility, lifting ability, tool proficiency, and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with using and servicing repair tools.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assign repairs to technicians qualified to perform them.
• Ensure technicians understand written repairs.
• Document estimated time on repair orders.
• Review technician progress and perform quality checks.
• Test drive repairs when needed.
• Discuss additional repairs with owners/drivers as necessary.
• Review repair orders on completion for correct hours and parts.
• Monitor open repair orders daily and close them promptly.
• Notify management of new tool requirements and follow purchase procedures.

Assign repair to Technician qualified to make repair.B. Ensure Technician reads and understands repair as written.D. Document time allowed on Repair Order, to make repair.E. Review Technicians' progress of repair.* Review and quality check repair. Test drive if needed.F. Review inspection form completed by Technician.* Call owner/discuss with driver any additional repairs that are needed.G. Review Repair Order upon completion for proper hours charged and proper parts charged out on repair.H. Review Open Repair Order Report daily; follow-up to make sure Repair Orders are closed as soon as work is completed.I. Notify management of any new tool requirements needed and follow proper procedure for purchase of same.## Qualifications**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR JOB:**A.
