Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Fitting & Welding Shop Foreman to lead daily fabrication operations. The role provides hands-on leadership to shop personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include directing the shop, maintaining schedules, coordinating deliveries, enforcing policies, and collaborating with project management, logistics, and purchasing to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Managerial or supervisory experience required.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Detailed knowledge of industry and safety practices.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift, overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance for shop employees.
• Adhere to and enforce all company policies.
• Manage all aspects of the fabrication shop, including personnel, equipment, tools, materials, etc.
• Update and maintain the production schedule.
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries.
• Establish and publish standard fabrication procedures.
• Maintain high quality standards and quality control procedures.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure project schedules are met.
• Maintain equipment and facilities as necessary.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Make decisions that protect company interests.
• Balance workload and provide feedback to the Regional Fabrication Operations Manager.
