Job summary

Drive Medical is seeking a 2nd shift Shipping Team Lead in Palmetto, GA. You will lead a team in order planning, coordinating staff, and process management to ensure on-time, accurate shipments of durable medical goods. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position requires leadership experience, basic mechanical skills, and familiarity with SAP/WMS. Competitive benefits and a strong focus on teamwork are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• “Lead and direct” experience
• Basic mechanical skills & hand tools experience
• Basic computer skills: PC, labeling software, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), RF scanners
• SAP or Warehouse Management System experience

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule and plan and prioritize daily work to meet customer requirements.
• Alert team members to any special configuration or customer delivery requirements.
• Process information in SAP system.
• Oversee packaging and labeling quality for product.
• Ensure safety norms and a clean, safe work area.
• Assist supervisor in preparing reports and training new hires.
• Develop processes and monitor department performance and progress.
• Communicate with customer service as needed.
• Investigate customer complaints.
