Job summary

Amcor seeks a General Technician - Shipping & Receiving to support palletizing, labeling, and outbound shipments on a 2nd shift (3 PM–11 PM). The role emphasizes safety, organization of the warehouse, baler room, and truck docks while providing material handling support to production areas.

You will operate forklifts, prepare finished goods for shipment, ensure accurate labeling and Bills of Lading, and maintain OHSE compliance while collaborating with Press Operation and other plant teams to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred or required.
• Experience with warehouse or shipping/receiving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods using lift and clamp trucks.
• Ensure loads are properly strapped, braced, and documented.
• Set up rolls and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Enter required information into the Pecas system and generate Bills of Lading.
• Assist in packing, labeling, and palletizing per customer specs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in warehouse and baler room.
