Job summary

Amcor in Fremont, OH is seeking a Shipping Handler to keep materials flowing, print and manage shipping docs, and maintain a safe dock. The role uses SAP, RF scanning, and forklift basics to support deliveries and operations.

You'll work a 12-hour night shift (6:55pm–7:10am), load/unload, inspect shipments, and assist with continuous improvement while upholding safety, GMP, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork mindset aligned with Amcor values.
• Basic math and computer skills; RF scanning proficiency.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification and shipping training.
• Ability to work weekends; reliable attendance.
• 12-hour night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers of materials and products.
• Prepare and print picklists, load lists, and truck lists using SAP.
• Inspect shipments for damage and cleanliness.
• Stage outbound shipments per BOL and pick lists.
• Seal, secure, and label materials; operate RF scanners.
• Maintain clean, safe dock and warehouse areas.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
