Job summary

STANLEY BLACK & DECKER, INC. in Elyria, OH is hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Team Member on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm). The role offers pay rate of $22.66/hour plus a $1.25 shift differential totaling $23.91/hour.

You will handle all shipments and receiving documents, store materials, and operate relevant warehouse equipment. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 2+ years forklift experience, basic computer skills for inventory, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience operating forklift.
• Basic computer skills for inventory transactions.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain B&D approved forklift certification).
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of an 8 hour day.
• Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipments via any carrier with all required paperwork.
• Receive and tally incoming shipments.
• Prepare and distribute receiving reports.
• Store material after checking against packing slip or requisition.
• Maintain warehouse storage of material.
• Operate trucks to pick up and deliver merchandise as needed.
• Utilize UPS and Receiving computer systems.
