Job summary

Cad Engineering Resources Inc is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Leader for Lake Orion, MI on the 2nd shift. This hands-on role supervises shipping and receiving, coordinates inventory, and works with the Logistics Manager to meet customer requirements.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in logistics with shipping/receiving experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift 40 lb and perform ladder/climbing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Three-years of logistics experience involving shipping & receiving activities and some customer interface.
• Basket of basic office tech skills including fax, scanner, copier.
• Interpersonal skills to coordinate with all departments and stakeholders.
• Good decision making, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Must be able to climb portable ladders and perform extensive walking when required.
• High visual demand for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/Lead including shipping and receiving personnel to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner
• Ensure all department personnel are trained to perform their duties effectively
• Ensure training matrix's and training events are updated and maintained as required
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Utilize first-in/first-out procedure and coordinate physical inventory activities including cycle counts
• Approve and coordinate paid time off for team members, as well as approve timecards
• Conduct performance reviews
• Discipline employees as necessary
• Other duties as required
