Job summary

Torrey Holistics of Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Technician (2nd Shift) for a 3-6 month contract. You will pick and package shipments, keep accurate inventory records, and support shipping, receiving, and production control as needed.

The role requires forklift/hi-lo operation, strong computer and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced environment. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2+ years experience in shipping/receiving.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to operate a forklift and hi-lo.

Responsibilities

• Pick and package daily shipments and maintain inventory records.
• Audit shippers for changes and ensure accuracy of outgoing/incoming shipments.
• Assist in receiving, warehouse staging, and production control tasks.
• Train coworkers in shipping/receiving when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and follow FIFO procedures.
• Handle customer service inquiries and follow-ups as required.
