Job summary

TSG is seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Americus, GA. The role supports manufacturing by ensuring materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately, maintaining production flow and inventory integrity. Hours are 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, with potential forklift duties for certified staff.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, entering transactions in ERP systems, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) a plus.
• Ability to read technical paperwork, part numbers, and production documentation.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, components, and supplies for manufacturing operations.
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and quality compliance.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips.
• Enter inventory transactions into ERP or inventory management systems.
• Stage materials for production and coordinate with production teams.
• Prepare and ship finished goods according to customer and carrier requirements.
• Package, label, and document shipments in compliance with company and customer standards.
• Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment (if certified).
• Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures (ISO, GMP, or similar, if applicable).
