Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Memphis, TN is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to perform data-entry and administrative tasks related to recording all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely daily operations.

You will coordinate pickups, monitor WMS reports, maintain inventories and documentation, support RF equipment as needed, and collaborate with internal teams to keep shipping and receiving processes efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year data processing experience, preferably in a distribution center.
• 1 year in a warehouse/clerical environment using standard practices.
• PC skills required (Windows, Excel, Word).
• RF equipment familiarity preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and deadline flexibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry within the assigned work area.
• Execute shipping and receiving administrative tasks.
• Coordinate and schedule pick-ups.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Consolidate shipments in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Vendor Routing Guide requirements.
• Assist with label generation for daily production orders.
• Track monthly rack audit data in Maintenance Connection.
• Track recurring MSDS in Maintenance Connection.
• Generate custom reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform inventory adjustment audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze workload and communicate with internal departments and external carriers.
• Prepare and disseminate departmental data reports.
• Maintain office supplies and interoffice mail distribution.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
