Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Shipping Operator for the 2nd shift to manage outgoing shipments, verify contents, and ensure timely delivery. You will prepare and oversee packing, labeling, and documentation to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Manufacturing Shipping and Receiving.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to train and work in other supporting work centers.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders and invoices.
• Coordinate production components through the shop floor and departments.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and labels.
• Assemble and kit components for production, stock and shipping.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Support cycle count and annual inventory.
• Maintain records of all outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding shipping issues.
• Operate forklifts, packaging equipment, and pallet jacks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Prepare all shipments by end of day to meet customer expectations.
