Position Details

Full Time | 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Responsibilities

• Handle, move, load, and unload materials using hand tools and equipment like tow motors and forklifts.
• Perform activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking.
• Operate industrial trucks and equipment to transport materials.
• Connect hoses or pipes and operate equipment for chemical loading/unloading.
• Operate equipment to dump or remove materials, and clean work areas.
• Assist with inventory, order filling, and other tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures and promote continuous improvement.

Work Environment

• Work areas may be noisy and lack climate control.
• Work around moving machinery and in areas with minimal lighting.
• Exposed to safety hazards like machinery, electricity, and trips/falls.

Physical Demands

Involves lifting, pulling, walking, carrying, pushing, kneeling, standing, reaching, squatting, climbing, twisting, speaking, hearing, and finger dexterity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams and under pressure.

ADA Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Physical activities include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
