Position Summary

The Material Handler/Forklift Driver is responsible for performing duties accurately, thoroughly, and safely. Employees must produce a safe, quality food product per USDA guidelines and report any food safety issues immediately.

Shift and Responsibilities

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 pm - Midnight
Overtime: 3:00 pm - 1:00 am

  • Scan and deliver meat baskets to packaging lines using a forklift.
  • Reweigh meat baskets and return to cooler as needed.
  • Audit rework vats and wrap them securely post-audit.
  • Ensure correct basket rotation and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
  • Monitor forklift safety and perform maintenance reports.
  • Deliver supplies, pallets, and remove excess inventory as needed.
  • Scan, wrap, and label pallets for shipping.
  • Adhere to GMPs and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Prior forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience preferred.

Working Conditions: Able to work in temperatures of 40°F or less, stand for 8-9 hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a high-speed environment with mandatory overtime as needed.
