Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. seeks a Shift Manager Shipping on 2nd Shift at our Walbridge, OH facility. You will direct Shipping and Secondary Operations, coordinating with sales and purchasing to ensure material availability and economical shipping practices.

You will lead a team, enforce safety, and drive process improvements, while managing WI’s/JSA’s and transportation contracts to meet targets.

Formación

• Five years’ experience in logistics or warehouse supervision of manufactured products.
• Proven leadership and drive for improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and monitor the Shipping personnel and Secondary Operations.
• Coordinate shipping activities with sales and purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Determine most economical shipping practices and control distribution of inventory.
• Provide instructions for shipments, routes, rates, and service types.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and training is conducted.
• Develop and approve WI’s and JSA’s; handle contract negotiations for transportation equipment.
