Central Garden & Pet Company, Kaytee division, is hiring Shipping Coordinators for the second shift at our Chilton, WI distribution center. You will manage inbound/outbound logistics and maintain customer accounts from the distribution center.

Responsibilities include checking in drivers, booking inbound appointments, entering orders, preparing bills of lading, and coordinating with supervisors. The role offers full benefits and a 401k match with profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, SAP and Outlook.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Check drivers in at the window, verify load, and delivery numbers.
• Book inbound appointment times with trucking companies and avoid overbooking.
• Enter orders into websites to initiate the logistics process and contact customers.
• Create bills of lading and map orders.
• Coordinate with senior staff as a backup for distribution center tasks.
• Arrange inbound/outbound freight and coordinate claims for damaged products.
