Job summary

Central Garden & Pet Company in Chilton, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator at Kaytee Distribution Center. You will safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and handcarts, pick orders, unload and load trucks, and move material throughout the facility, with occasional cycle-count inventory work.

Qualifications

• Experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts and handcarts preferred.
• RF Scanner experience; training provided.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 31-60 lbs moderately.
• Must work safely and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely, accurately and efficiently operate forklift (sit-down/stand-up) and/or handcart.
• Accurately complete RF scanner functions affecting inventory and paperwork.
• Move product to appropriate storage locations.
• Load trucks (as assigned).
• Unload trucks (as assigned).
• Pick orders (as assigned).
• Report food safety issues as needed.
