Job summary

Weber in Huntley, IL is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate on 2nd shift to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, unload/import-export containers, stage products, and ensure accurate counts and labeling.

You will read receiving docs, use handheld scanners, report discrepancies, and help with safe storage and shipping. A valid Powered Industrial Truck license is required, along with a high school diploma or GED; great benefits through the union.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• English language proficiency sufficient for reading and writing basic instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills to check stock and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down powered industrial truck (forks and clamp) and standup reach truck.
• Unload import/export containers and domestic trailers to receiving dock.
• Read and verify documentation for receiving, storing, and staging products.
• Verify counts and locations; report discrepancies and damaged product.
• Label, seal, shrink wrap, and load shipments; use handheld scanners.
• Maintain safety practices and proper storage locations; assist with inventory control.
