Job summary

McWane's Clow Valve Machine Shop has an opening for a 2nd shift Shipping Forklift operator. The shift is Monday – Thursday, 3pm-1am, with starting wage of $28.34 and qualified wage of $28.72 plus a $0.90 shift differential.

Health insurance becomes available after 60 days. Responsibilities include loading and transporting products, inspecting loads, and maintaining safety practices while positioning and moving goods across the facility. EEO guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand up to 2 hours per day.
• Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
• Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
• Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
• Loading product onto truck for transport
• Transfer product to designated location throughout the facility.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork
