Job description

The shipping coordinator is responsible for processing all outbound freight through the final stage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure all customer orders are packaged and labeled with no to minimal errors and allowing for no damage in shipping through wrapping and/or banding.
• Verify all part numbers prior to packaging and ensure accurate quantities based on customer orders.
• Apply shipping labels to all packaged goods and route items to the appropriate staging area for shipping.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork and electronic bills of lading at high accuracy, maintaining all related shipping records and logs.
• Maintain a clean work area, with adequate supplies of packaging materials.
• Ensure safe operation of forklift, pallet jacks, and any other necessary equipment.
• Load and unload shipments.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Forklift certification or prior experience.

OTHER:

• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
• The schedule is Thursday - Sunday 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM.
