Job summary

EMJ is seeking a Shipping Clerk for the 2nd shift at our Schaumburg, IL facility. You will coordinate shipments, inspect items, prepare documentation, and support warehouse operations, working with internal teams, carriers, and customers to ensure accuracy and timely deliveries.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic computer and data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate forklifts (training provided).

• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Check products for defects and accuracy.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments and verify items physically.
• Post outbound deliveries using software.
• Package items securely for shipment and ensure proper labeling.
• Verify serial and batch numbers against product records.
• Pull, pack, and ship finished goods and customer orders.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments and verify accuracy.
• Record all transactions in the company database.
• Coordinate loading of shipment vehicles and operate forklifts.
• Maintain organized warehouse and perform cycle counts.
