RESRG Automotive is looking for a Materials Supervisor to join our team in Covington, GA! This is a 2nd Shift position.

Your Job

This position's primary responsibility is ensuring safety, culture and operational effectiveness using lean manufacturing tactics with a focus on production efficiency. It is an expectation of the supervisor to develop and mentor all employees under their supervision.

What You Will Do

This role supports safe, efficient material flow by leading material handlers, coordinating with production partners, maintaining equipment readiness, and driving continuous improvement in daily warehouse and manufacturing operations.

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of a small team of material handlers, including distributing product to the production line, ensuring efficient and accurate packaging distribution, and supporting timely collection activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production requirements
• Work with upstream and downstream processes (and people), to exceed customer expectations
• Develop, empower, and coach team members by providing training, guidance, and support to Material Handlers.
• Develop working knowledge of the Shipping Execution System (SES) to ensure customer requirements are met and shipments are completed within the expected timeframe.
• Continuously ensure safety standards and compliance requirements are met, and comply with all standard safety practices and company guidelines.
• Drive 5S in your areas.
• Maintain equipment and company assets to ensure safe operating condition s.
• Support continuous improvement programs while establishing and maintaining positive employee relations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• A minimum of 3 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure safety standards, compliance requirements, and procedures are met daily.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with EPICor or a similar CMS.
• Strong verbal communication, written communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to delegate work and forecast staffing needs to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Previous experience overseeing forklift and tugger operations in a supervisory role.
