The successful candidate will operate power tools, assist with layouts, and use an overhead crane while consistently ensuring documentation and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, shop-floor paperwork, and procedure manuals.
• Math ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Install parts according to the Assembly Manual and special instructions, using required documentation.
• Utilize air gun, radial drill, cutoff saw, and other powered tools to fabricate parts for installation.
• Complete layouts for header panels and cut appropriately sized holes to meet production requirements.
• Operate an overhead crane to move subassemblies into place and remove materials from crates and boxes.
• Verify quality of work performed, document results, and take corrective action if a deviation is found.
