ETS is hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator for in-person work in Vermont. The role involves reading CAD drawings, cutting and assembling ductwork, and performing basic welds with a focus on safety and quality.

You will operate shop tools, use measuring devices, and participate in a fast-paced shop environment across multiple areas as needed. The position offers weekly pay, health insurance, and a new earned-wages-on-demand benefit to access pay before payday.

Qualifications

• Read CAD drawings for ductwork assemblies.
• Measure and cut sheet metal to exact specifications.
• Deburr, grind, and sand metal components for downstream processes.
• Assemble and align sheet metal segments and damper components using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Read CAD drawings and manufacturing instructions for custom ductwork assemblies.
• Select, measure, and cut sheet metal to precise specifications.
• Prepare and clean metal components by deburring, grinding, and sanding for downstream processes.
• Assemble and align sheet metal segments and damper components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Perform basic tack-welding to secure sub-assemblies for specialized welders.
• Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance.
