Job summary

ETS is seeking a Fabrication Operator in Essex Junction, VT for a 2nd shift, full-time role with a 4-day work week. You will load machinery and assist with blending, polishing, spot welding, and shearing, using hand and power tools while reading blueprints and inspecting components.

Qualified candidates read blueprints, operate measuring tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely manage a forklift. Training is available; health insurance, weekly pay, and earned wages on-demand are provided.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Skilled with small hand and power tools used on the shop floor.
• Familiarity with shop floor measuring instruments and counting accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load machinery and assist with fabrication processes such as blending, polishing, spot welding, and shearing.
• Use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools to complete assigned work.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials weighing 50–4500 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other fabrication-related duties as assigned.
