Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Set Up Technician I for the 2nd shift to install and adjust pharmaceutical packaging equipment. You will follow cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and work with maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly while meeting daily production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years as a mechanic in a GMP/pharma setting. Overtime may be necessary to complete PMs and repairs, and the ideal candidate demonstrates strong mechanical

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a mechanic in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and meet daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/operate pharmaceutical-processing/packaging equipment in conformance with cGMP and SOPs; perform preventive maintenance duties.
• Set-up/adjustments to equipment to ensure peak efficiency within cGMP guidelines and SOPs.
• Set-up/operate related equipment, repair and/or report defects.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition with no Quality Errors.
• Complete PMs in the Packaging area as scheduled by CMMS.
• Create Work Orders to maintain a Safe and Productive Packaging Line.
• Organize work to achieve daily goals with no errors; follow SOPs and Safety Precautions.
• Perform other duties as required to meet company objectives.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and work in a team.
• Document parts used for Packaging Asset to support inventory control.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Overtime may be required to complete PMs and repairs during downtime.
