Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Seymour, Indiana, is seeking a Service Shop Repair Technician for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on keeping Walmart Transportation equipment safe and ready, performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers, tractors, and service vehicles.

You will document work orders, participate in warranty processes, and ensure repairs are completed right the first time, supporting DOT compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and Brake inspection qualification as defined by FMCSA.
• Vehicle inspection qualification per FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor to intermediate inspections, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment.
• Create and process work orders; identify parts and repair solutions.
• Conduct minor diagnostics using technical/electronic equipment on engines, electronics, drivetrains, and HVAC.
• Receive fuel drops, monitor safety, and prepare required paperwork.
• Identify warrantable repairs and complete warranty-related documentation.
