DK Security, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily security operations, staffing coordination, and client services. The role reports to Operations leadership and collaborates with HR, site Supervisors, and the Command Center.

The position is 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm), full-time, on-site with a $42,000/year salary and comprehensive benefits. Prior security management experience, background check clearance, and CPL are important for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of security management experience preferred.
• Background check and CPL requirements.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, lift up to 70 lbs.
• Drug screening required, including marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations leadership in managing contract and temporary accounts, staffing needs, employee support, and service issues.
• Monitor schedules; coordinate shift coverage with Site Supervisors and Command Center; maintain staffing records.
• Assist with client communications, meeting preparation, and service documentation; escalate matters needing leadership approval.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications and training schedules.
• Track and manage equipment and uniforms; assist with hiring, onboarding, and payroll/billing processes.
