Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), has an immediate opening for a Security Guard. The role involves monitoring buildings, enforcing regulations, and documenting incidents in a busy behavioral health setting in Groton, CT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security/safety officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report meetings at the start of each shift.
• Monitor all buildings and grounds.
• Enforce rules, check windows, doors, and locks.
• Inspect outside grounds for trespassers or unauthorized activity.
• Ensure company vehicles at site are secured.
• Complete required documentation (rounds checklist, HPRs).
• Report maintenance issues and submit end-of-shift reports with incidents and confiscated items.
