Job summary

Universal Health Services' Stonington Institute in Groton, CT, is hiring a full-time Security Guard for the 3rd shift. You will monitor buildings, enforce rules, inspect grounds, and complete shift reports to ensure safety and security for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security/safety officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report meetings.
• Monitor all buildings/grounds.
• Enforce rules and regulations, including curfew. Check all windows, doors, and locks
• Inspect outside grounds for trespassers or unauthorized activity
• Ensure company vehicle(s) at site are locked and secure
• Complete documentation as required (rounds checklist, HPRs)
• Report on any outside maintenance issues including cleanliness of guest areas
• Submit end of shift report daily, to include: Incidents occurring during the shift (with supportive documentation), contraband (items found, location, in whose possession, location of confiscated items).
