Job summary

Boot Barn seeks a Seasonal Distribution Center Associate for the 2nd shift to pick, pack and ship online orders and assist with receiving and packing duties. The role uses wrist scanning devices and DC equipment, and requires strong teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.

The position operates Tue-Fri 6:00PM-4:30AM, is non-exempt, and offers benefits typical for seasonal partners, including healthcare, 401(k), and merchandise discounts.

Qualifications

• High School degree and equivalent work experience.
• 1 - 2 years of shipping & receiving or warehouse functions.
• Strong communication with management and other employees.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of working with computers.
• Proficiency with inventory/database programs preferred.
• Able to operate distribution center equipment such as forklift, reach truck, pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs and ships product for all online customer orders.
• Stocks all incoming freight to respective bin locations.
• Assists with receiving incoming freight.
• Uses wrist units for daily picking or put away functions.
• Unload/load trucks.
• Monitors equipment and reports problems to supervisor.
• Maintains safe and clean work environments by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
• Demonstrates professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers and staff.
• Adheres to all laws and company policies; supports loss prevention and attendance rules.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
