Job summary

HES Facilities is hiring a 2nd shift Custodian in Douglasville, GA. This is a full- and part-time role focused on keeping school facilities clean and safe for students and staff.

No prior experience required; training provided. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, wash windows, restrooms, and perform light maintenance tasks as assigned. Optional daily pay and a weekly attendance bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend the duties of the position.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, fixtures and windows.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and doors.
• Empty trash and manage waste outside entrances.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Change interior light bulbs where reachable.
• Notify management of repair needs.
• Remove snow/ice and apply salt as needed.
• Organize custodial closets and materials.
• Move and arrange furniture for events as directed.
• Additional duties as required by supervisor.
