Job summary

Grafton Public Schools in Grafton, MA is seeking a Substitute Custodian for a 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). You will help provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students to learn and play.

Responsibilities include sweeping classrooms, cleaning bathrooms, reporting repairs, and moving furniture as directed. Hours may vary over the summer; position may be part-time as needed with full-time considerations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant custodial experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Position is 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm).
• Provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which children may learn, play, and develop.
• Keep buildings and premises clean at all times.
• Sweep classrooms.
• Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, floors, sanitary fixtures.
• Reports needed repairs to appropriate personnel.
• Move furniture as required for various activities as directed by the Director of Operations and/or by school Principal.
• Hours modified over the summer.
• Other duties as requested.
