Job summary

Vallourec in Houston, TX is seeking a Saw/Swage Operator for the 2nd shift to support the manufacturing of tubular products. You will operate saw and swage equipment, locate and handle material, and ensure safety, quality, and traceability throughout the process.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in manufacturing or machine shop, and familiarity with precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing, machine shop, or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate saw and swage equipment.
• Locate, pull, and handle material throughout the facility.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications.
• Maintain product traceability throughout the process.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists to move material safely.
• Assist with machine setup, die changes, and production changeovers.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
