Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in sanitation or food production preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety.
• Able to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Comfortable in wet, hot, and chemical environments with PPE.
• Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and facility areas using cleaning tools and chemicals.
• Follow and adhere to all sanitation procedures.
• Perform pre-operational self-inspections on equipment and production areas.
• Ensure sanitation tasks keep production areas inspection-ready for QA and USDA.
• Safely handle sanitation chemicals per company procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, PPE, and safety requirements.
• Identify and report sanitation, equipment, or safety concerns to leadership.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and startup times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during the shift.
• Support team operations and assist with additional sanitation duties as needed.
