Job summary

E.A. Sween Company in Greenwood County, South Carolina, is seeking a Packager to join our growing team on 2nd shift. The role involves packing sandwiches into bun trays and boxes at established line speeds and contributing to our Lean initiative.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with a $1.25 shift differential. This position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to GMPs, with opportunities to grow within a long-standing, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly line experience in a high-speed packaging environment.
• Must be able to write, count and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be available for work flexible schedule to include occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pack sandwiches into bun trays and corrugated boxes at designated line speeds.
• Support Lean initiatives and ensure GMP compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Rotate through packaging positions on a 30-minute basis.
