Job summary

Mountville Rubber Company is seeking a motivated Warehouse Technician to support production in a non-climate-controlled facility in Georgia. You will follow safety procedures, handle chemicals, lift heavy packages, weigh and scoop materials, and prepare bags for production.

You must be able to stand for 8 hours, lift 50+ pounds, and work well in a team. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and attendance on 2nd shift is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to stand for 8 hours.
• Comfortable working around powders and rubber materials.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE when handling chemicals, materials, and equipment.
• Lift bags and boxes from pallets and safely place them onto worktables or designated work areas.
• Cut bags and safely transfer chemical contents into pans or other designated containers.
• Accurately weigh and scoop chemicals according to established recipes and specifications.
• Secure prepared plastic bags and place them into the appropriate designated containers.
• Follow established procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of chemicals and materials.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to support safe and efficient operations.
