Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. seeks a qualified Rotating Equipment Mechanic for 2nd shift in Houston, TX. You will disassemble, inspect, and repair turbomachinery components including turbines and compressors, document findings, and ensure adherence to OEM specs.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and timely completion of maintenance tasks. Candidates should have 5–10 years of rotating equipment experience and preferably NCCER Millwright certification.

Qualifications

• NCCER Millwright certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of mechanic experience on pumps, gearboxes, blowers, compressors and turbines.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and document rotating equipment per OEM specs.
• Maintain and repair rotating equipment and perform required maintenance.
• Prepare service documentation and daily work records.
• Train junior mechanics and ensure attendance and punctuality.
• Use measuring devices and perform dimensional checks on components.
