Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Rotating Equipment Mechanics to work 2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm) performing mechanical operations on turbomachinery components. Experience with pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and blowers is required.

The role requires disassembly, inspection, maintenance, and documentation of repair work, in a safety-conscious shop. High attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in schedules and adapt to shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and document turbomachinery components and repair proposals.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair rotating equipment (pumps, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, turbines).
• Perform OEM-compliant maintenance and prepare service documentation.
• Record measurements, clearances, and provide inspection reports with repair recommendations.
• Train junior mechanics and uphold safety policies in a hands-on shop environment.
• Ensure daily records, tool use, and shop housekeeping are maintained.
