Job summary

Kids for the Future in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Roller Fabricator to manufacture conveyor rollers by fabricating and assembling raw materials into finished products. This role requires precise measurement and safe work practices.

You will read a tape measure with fractions and decimals, operate saws and precision production equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area. A high school diploma or GED is required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret measurements precisely (fractions & decimals).
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus required.
• Experience operating standard hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble a variety of standard and custom conveyor rollers according to production specs.
• Identify and work with various tube gauges and bearing types to ensure proper assembly.
• Safely operate saws and automated production equipment to cut, press, crimp, and straighten components.
• Package completed rollers for shipment or storage and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Report equipment issues or material concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Read and use a tape measure accurately during measurements.
