Qualifications

• Must pass weld qualification test to Ford weld specs.
• Requires operator to wear extra PPE such as weld helmet and gloves.
• Able to lift up to and including 50 pounds.
• Must be flexible and willing to travel.
• High regard to quality and takes pride in their work.
• Meet minimum qualifications as contained in the PPI selection process.

Responsibilities

• Support production in order to meet or exceed established efficiency goals and other MOS measurables.
• Support production in setting up and operating machinery and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform all required weld repairs, adjustments, and modifications to machinery and parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the manufacturing process, methods, and work environment through trouble shooting and problem-solving exercises.
• Comply with all quality and environmental system requirements.
• Contribute ideas and actions promoting environmentally sound business practices.
• Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.
• Perform other essential functions as assigned.
