Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Robot Welding Part Loader for first or second shift in Hesston, KS. You will work on a robotic welding line, assembling parts and controlling robot operations to ensure safe, quality output.

You’ll use hand tools, read blueprints, and follow standard work while complying with safety standards. A High School diploma is preferred and PPE requirements apply. Competitive salary and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School / GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only).
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator).
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified.
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead.

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture.
• Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product.
• Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
• Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint.
• Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools.

What You'll Do

Work within a station that is part of a robotic welding line for the robot to weld a unit using standard build process. Follow all production processes to maintain a consistent workflow to ensure safe operations, quality product and consistent delivery.

Duties:

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
